Momo's began in September of 1999 as the proverbial hole-in-the-wall pizza joint with a half dozen or so employees and an original made-from-scratch recipe for New York style hand-tossed pizza and calzones. With a mix of good food, good music, and a very casual atmosphere Momo's has rapidly evolved into a "must-do" for students as well as locals. All pizza is made from scratch from home-made dough and home-made sauce and made in full sight of customers in the old-style made famous in Northereastern pizzerias. Pizza slices "as big as your head" are prepared to the specific taste of each customer and whole pies range from a 16" medium (nothing is small at Momo's) to the 30" big daddy which is unequaled anywhere in Tallahassee or probably anywhere in the Southeast.
